As we go to the poll today, lets be reminded of Proverbs 14:34, that states, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

In this simple verse, we see established a rule, or standard, composed of two alternatives. There is no middle ground. There are two causes, each with its own effect.

We can see where the effect of sin has gotten us so far and I believe there is a need for us to make U turn and it is today. All the candidates have made clear their plans and we have seen their actions and antecedents and it is clear the one that will usher in Righteousness back into our nation and the ones that will continue in the reproach of sin and it ways. Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed of Labour Party stood out and have indeed model that Righteousness indeed can be restored, sanity can be restored back to our land and we can indeed become a Nation and not their was a nation.

Today we vote, today we elect the next leaders or rulers, today we decide whether we continue in the path of sin or take a U turn and follow the path of righteousness.

As we go to the poll and even after the poll in our rejoicing and celebration of #ObiDatti, let us keep at the back of our mind that we make up the Nation and righteousness begins with Me, with You, with All of Us.

Please do not vote your conscience because you may not have one again.

Please do not follow your heart because it has deceived you over and over again.
